The "code in by dose" has finally receded enough that I can talk normally, so I made a new Photoshop tutorial! This time, it's about using textures on brushes.
Find out how to make it look like you're drawing with chalk or crayon on a textured surface. Learn what happens when you "Texture Each Tip." Discover what the Depth slider does, and how to make it look the way you want it to. Find out why some of the Modes seem to hid the texture completely, and how to get them to show it!
Textures are fun, and flexible, and can add a lot of realism to painting in PS. Your painting doesn't have to look unrealistically smooth, and you don't need to add noise to break it up. All you have to do is put a little texture in it!
Hope you enjoy the tutorial!
